0 Factory 6: Craig Metros

Craig Metros is a Detroit born car designer, artist and hot rod builder. Craig moved to Melbourne, Australia five years ago on an international work transfer.

The first film from new production house Fuel Tank TV begins the 'Factory 6' series by peering through the doors of a workshop deep in the suburbs of Melbourne. Craig is one of a handful of passionate and skillful guys, toiling away the winter nights, creating art and working on a multitude of automotive projects in the same shared space.

0 HBTV: Depth of Speed - A Pinch of Salt

Depth of Speed was born from a desire of story, travel and a love of anything automotive related. Next year my wife and I will be taking to the streets to uncover and document the greatest stories from the automotive world. From coast-to-coast and from top to bottom, finding the best stories will take the highest priority. Every time I meet someone new or attend an event I’m amazed at the depth, passion and love that the automotive world brings. Depth of Speed is just that – an in-depth look at these stories. There is something about motors and machines, that to an outsider looking in, would make us seem plain crazy.
We have begun the process of outfitting our trusty Scamp trailer to traverse the entire country. Known affectionately as a fiberglass egg, our Scamp will be our home for one year of our lives. At only 13 feet long it will make for a cozy year.
As we enter the concluding episode to season one of Depth of Speed, Josh Clason takes us to an American automotive mecca and the Bonneville Salt Flats. Land speed racing has gone hand in hand with Bonneville as many travel to Utah in hopes of setting the next great record. But beyond the competition has been a strong degree of camaraderie where the ultimate goal lies beyond the record books.

1 Legend's Car, a small race car from the 30's

What is a Legends Car? It's a 5/8 scale replica of a 1930's Ford or Chevrolet sedan or coupe. They were created in 1992 by 600 Racing Inc. of North Carolina to address the spiralling cost of motorsport.
These wee beasties boast a gutsy 125bhp Yamaha motorcycle engine and are capable of speeds well in excess of 210 Km/h. The Legends Car is a real race car, consisting of a tubular frame and roll cage, a locked differential and tight, responsive steering. It was originally designed for oval track racing but the car is equally comfortable on a conventional circuit when properly prepared.
Strict rules limit modifications, keep the costs down and reveal the talents of the drivers. Equal performance and reversed grids guarantee fast, exciting and dramatic racing. If you want to know more about this cars, Here
