0 1982 Yamaha SR250

Marco Troiano

Marco looked at the 1982 Yamaha Sr250 and rolled up his sleeves. He started modifying thoroughly, shortening it and using a unique rear suspension scheme, with a single shock working in reverse, when in traction instead of in compression. The rear 16” tyre is beautifully and really unusual, being nothing less than a tractor’s front wheel. Genial. And the tank is straight from a 70’s 50cc motorcycle but Marco doesn’t even remember where he got it from, the fairing and fairing’s frame are homemade.

0 The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show

Concluding the evening before Marquez would claim yet another first place MotoGP finish, The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show I in Austin, TX was back-to-back days of staggering awesome. Thousands of #motonerds strolled in and out of the doors of our space those two days to soak in everything available: custom motorcycles, The Wall of Death, art, vintage and customized jackets, food, booze, music, and camaraderie. We had the distinct pleasure of spending time with old friends and making new ones that all share the same passion for anything and everything bespoke. We'd like to thank everyone that came out for the event, be it builders, artists, or just folks stopping by to ogle. None of this was possible without your support. We'll see you next year!

0 Santa Claus on custom 1987 Kawasaki KLR650

Santa Claus on custom 1987 Kawasaki KLR650. Oh come on guys, where is Rudolf, what happend to Santa's slades?
As we recognized, Santa has a hut also here in Pokljuka, Slovenia and his daily rider is custom Kawasaki KLR650. Unyusuall? It's unyusuall that Santa rides a motorcycle, that he ride's it for fun, and that his ride is a custom Kawasaki KLR 650. KLR?

His words are: »it's reliable, fun to ride and man, nobody else got one like this. And loud pipes saves lifes. This Monster Tracker from 7seven customs has a custom exhaust and its freakin loud, especcialy whan shifting one down it's like somebody shooting with a big gun after you. Rudolf does't like it!«

More about custom motorcycle will be unvild in January, so Santa can't speak about it. He just confirmend us, that this bike comes from Slovenian builders 7seven customs.

He wish all of us a marry christmas and a happy new year 2014. Between the lines he mentioned, that nobody wished his custom KLR jet & that there is still enough time to write a letter and get it under the christmas tree.

0 Wheels & Waves II x Loser Machine

In Europe, the winter can seem unending, the time of year when we are consigned to dwell interminably in our garages, neon lights may be bright but they can never truly replicate sunlight... But there is a cure, we have been planning an end of winter trip to the Basque country since last summer with our friend Fede at Loser Machine and Bixente, a ride for a Wheels and Waves 2013 reunion. A band of brothers, 20 in all. However with the unpredictable seasonal conditions we are taking a gamble, but still we have ploughed through all conditions before and shall do again. The ride is a total of 240km, and we are planning it for June, so it should be perfect riding : A combination of beautiful nature and a rare countryside found in these traditional lands, far from the polluted towns and cities that so many of us are forced to call home. Mountains are found in abundance as are the twists on the long empty stretches of road, which are themselves much like racing circuits, in short, a dreamlike wonderland. Anybody who loves bikes will get that longed for Endorphin rush and a heavenly bike connection. Southsiders Mc (southsiders-mc.blogspot.fr/)
